Jordin Sparks is back with her first full album since 2009's brilliant, "Battlefield", album. She returns a little more R&B than when she left us, the result? A wonderful album that continues the legacy of a sensational vocalist and performer.

I've always been a big fan of Jordin Sparks, right from the first time I heard the awesome, "Tattoo". As an Aussie, we didn't get that season of American Idol, so when "Tattoo" came out, I was sold. My love increased with the "Battlefield" album, my favourite track. "Don't Let It Go To Your Head", still gets me smiling. So when I heard she finally had a new album coming out, I was very excited.
Let's get it out there early, this is a great album. While she's lost a lot of her pop sound, her voice and the final product sounds more accomplished and rounded out. She has such an amazing passion in her voice and it's a very sexy album, sounding a lot like some of Janet Jackson's sexiest work from the early 90s. There's a great combination of club tracks and sexy R&B beats, with a little bit of pop to satisfy old fans.
Single, "Double Tap", featuring 2 Chainz, is still as good as when I listed it as single of the week a few months back. This fun track is infectious and I can already guarantee it'll be in my Top 50 songs of 2015 countdown, it may even make Top 20. It still gives me a massive smile.
There's some fantastic tracks, including title track and current single, "Right Here Right Now", another fun song with a great beat and beautiful vocals. "Tell Him I Love Him", is more like old school Jordin, but with a new attitude; a stunning ballad that has a brilliant lead into the chorus. Especially love the lyrics, "Got your sex dress on". "They Don't Give" really does have that 90s R&B feel. It is a sexy song with a great beat.
Other awesome tracks include the beautiful "100 years", the great duet, "Unhappy" and the early single, "It Ain't You". This really is a special collection of songs from an artist evolving into a true musical force. Have a listen to this album, it's a brilliant one!
