Singles: The Best Singles of March 2016
As we come to the end of yet another month (time really does fly as you get older!), it's time to look back at the best singles of March 2016. It has been an amazing month for music, and there's so many other songs I love - but these six really stuck out. Tell me in the comments section below which one you liked most, or vote on our Twitter page.

Album Review: Piece by Piece - Kelly Clarkson
Welcome back Ms Clarkson, we've missed you! Now I have been a massive KC fan since the very beginning, this woman knows how to sing and she proves it once more with her first new, non-Christmas studio album in 4 years. This a very strong album from one of the best vocalists in music today!

What's the best concert you've been to?
Besides sharing my love of pop music on this blog, I am a playwright and have been working on a new play set in Sydney in 1993. "The Girlie Show" is the story of five people who meet in line for Madonna's first ever concert. I'm almost finished my first draft and it got me thinking about how much I enjoy concerts. I used to go to a lot when I was younger but then they got more expensive and most of my money was going into rent and theatre. But I have made a recent decision that I need to go to see more live music. I am seeing Drake this week and I'm excited, now to see more people.
So what is the best concert you've been to? The list is wide and varied for me. There's a number of gigs I could pick, I'm going to highlight a few later, but first here's a few gigs I've loved:
Labels:
bananarama,
Cher,
Concert,
Destiny's Child,
Dixie Chicks,
Internal Jukebox,
Janet Jackson,
Kasey Chambers,
Kelly Clarkson,
Kylie Minogue,
Madonna,
music,
pop,
Prince,
Sara Bareilles,
Tina Arena,
Wayne Tunks

Single of the Week: Heartbeat Song - Kelly Clarkson
First things first, welcome back Kelly Clarkson. I have to be honest, I am a massive Kelly Clarkson fan! When she toured Australia during her "Breakaway" tour I spent the entire day blaring the album - my neighbour's boyfriend screamed loudly he couldn't hear it again. I pressed repeat. And that gig, wow, she was incredible. Bouncing to "Since U Been Gone" with the full crowd at the Sydney Entertainment Centre was amazing.
But now, after a brief flirtation with country music, Clarkson is back where she belongs, making catchy pop rock. And what a great return to form. Yes, it sounds similar to some of her past work, but that isn't a bad thing - she's asserting to us why her music is so great. With a great guitar riff and dance beat, the vocals are the real highlight of this track. This super fun track is a great summer anthem that will stuck in your head, I've been walking around for days singing, "This is my heartbeat song..."
With a new album around the corner, I am pretty stoked to hear what she has to offer next. I for one am so glad to have her back. The song hasn't set the charts alight yet, let's hope it starts to get more airplay and gets the attention it deserves.
So what's your favourite Kelly Clarkson song? This one is tough for me, I really do love her stuff. Okay, I'll just have throw some nominations out there, but it may just be listing all her songs! There's "Cry", "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)", "Sober", "Breakaway", "Never Again", "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Low" but I think my favourite is "Since U Been Gone". This is a perfect as pop rock gets. Play loud people, annoy those neighbours!!
